Simply, the Dye Fore course is a truly remarkable design and an awesome test of golf. Of the 18 picturesque holes on the Dye Fore course, #12 and #15 have been recognized as two of the greatest par three holes in the world. Dye Fore was built atop rollng foothills above the Chavon River Canyon and the course numbers are staggering: 27 holes, 7,740 yards in length, seven cliff-side holes dropping 300 feet to the Chavon River below, and incredible 360 degree views of the countryside, Casa de Campo Marina, Dominican Mountains and the Caribbean Sea. The beautiful inland course The Links course designed by Pete Dye may not be as challenging as its seaside or cliff-hugging siblings, but don't be deceived. The Links is a rolling hills track with with great views of the Caribbean Sea. Tall bahia and guinea grass natural areas, as well as waste areas and sand traps will keep you on your toes. Thought by some to be reminiscent of traditional British and Scottish courses, The Links also features five holes bordering several lagoons and small lakes making the challenge even more special.
